A journey that commenced on April 19, 1939…is still on
A humble soul…Shri Jagdish Chander Arora… born in a humble family… on April 19, 1939… at Noorewala in Punjab, presently in Pakistan…massacre of 1947 Indo-Pak partition proved disastrous… lost father and brother … emotionally wrecked… gathered courage and took upon the responsibility of the family on young shoulders……. As an obedient son…continued to study… and support the family…joined D.A.V. School Gandhi Nagar, Delhi at a very young age as teacher…exhibited commendable devotion to his work…helped siblings settled….As a committed brother…. Joined Vivekanand Mahila College, University of Delhi,1970 as assistant librarian…. Altruistic and optimistic worker… showered his benevolence… on economically challenged students…. Imparted education with values with no expectation of monetary gains… realized the need for committed schools… founded Bal Hakikat Siksha Samiti… and initiated formal teaching… established first elementary school at Jitar Nagar, in 1974… put his heart and soul into it… Established another school (secondary) at Kailash Nagar 1977… nurtured it with his sweat and blood…. And moved forward… to establish yet another school (senior secondary) at Defence Enclave 1988… took it to great heights… committed to education… took upon himself the daunting task of awakening the society… founded Nav Shubh Prabhat Educational Society… shared close associations with legends… icons from different fields… intellectuals… politicians… sports personalities… delved into philanthropic activities… diversified his interests and activities… founded Radha Madhav Satsang Samiti in 1996… endeavoured to make positive contributions to the community… by promoting and disseminated values… rendering help to needy…organizing community programs.
Shri Jagdish Chander Arora left the family and friends with a legacy they are proud of. He visualized, value driven educational institutions of 21st century with global outlook reflected in their attitude and values. Completely inspired and motivated by his value system, JBM at Shankar Vihar, Delhi, 2000 and JBM Global, Noida in 2008 were established with the vision to chase and fulfill the dream projects of the Founder Chairman, cultivating a new generation capable of accepting environmental, social and economic challenges.
